More Programs...

Entertainment Press Corps: Las Vegas Entertainment Museum will develop the Las Vegas Entertainment Press Corps. This will be the group of the local media and press people who report on: the local entertainment and lifestyle scene, theatrical shows, red carpet events, concerts, restaurants, conventions & trade shows, and other regional tourist attractions. The Press Corps will be the credentialing organization to authenticate entertainment media personnel; to verify who they report for, and if they are still associated with that media outlet. The Press Corps will also act as a mentoring group to work with journalism and photography students to give them real-life practical exposure. Also, quarterly lunch-and-learn events sponsored at different casinos will be arranged to highlight specific casino entertainment events. All accredited media personnel will receive a yearly renewable Press Pass to certify their continued media affiliation.

TLVS-The Las Vegas Station: TLVS will be a worldwide Internet broadcast radio station. It will serve as an outreach, educational, and awareness component of the Foundation. Students will have the ability to learn radio on-air skills without the burden of FCC regulations. They will learn interviewing techniques and voice-over skills; along with writing and producing local content. Since the radio station will be broadcast via the Internet, the student's friends and family living anywhere in the world, can hear their creative accomplishments. TLVS will also air interviews conducted at red-carpet events, backstage after shows, and talk-show format segments; not only from journalism students, but also from other volunteers and local media personnel. TLVS will air music from local Las Vegas singers and bands who give LVEF airing rights and clearance.

The Las Vegas Entertainment Museum is a program of Gateway Gallery, a State of Nevada and Federally chartered not-for-profit public charity organization.
